2009 Kennedy Half Dollar
The 2009 Kennedy Half Dollar was produced in limited numbers for sale directly to collectors, as has been the case for all issues of the series since 2002. The 2009-P and 2009-D Kennedy Half Dollars were sold in two roll sets and 200-coin bags to collectors. Satin finish versions of these two coins were included in the 2009 Mint Set. Finally, the 2009-S Proof and Silver Proof Kennedy Halves were available in the annual proof and silver proof sets.
