2004 Kennedy Half Dollar
The 2004 Kennedy Half Dollar was produced only for collectors. Circulation strike quality coins were produced at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. These coins were sold in bags and rolls priced at a premium to face value or as part of the annual Mint Set. Proof quality coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint in clad and 90% silver compositions. These coins were included in the US Mint’s Proof Set and Silver Proof Set.
