2002 Kennedy Half Dollar

The 2002 Kennedy Half Dollar was not produced for circulation. The coins produced at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints were made only for annual uncirculated mint sets and for rolls and bags sold to collectors. The mintage is accordingly lower, however coins do not carry premiums since most of the mintage is held by collectors. For all subsequent years to date, no Kennedy Half Dollars would be produced for circulation.
