1993 Kennedy Half Dollar

The 1993-S Silver Proof Kennedy Half Dollar saw a significant mintage decline from the prior year. This marked the second year of offering for the United States Mint’s new annual proof set offering containing 90% silver coins. After the initial rush of orders for the first year, sales subsided to a basic range where they would remain until 1999. Several issues during this time frame command significant premiums.
