The 1983 Kennedy Half Dollar shares a similar situation to the prior year coins. Once again, the US Mint did not issue the traditional Uncirculated Mint Sets, making the 1983-P and 1983-D Kennedy Half Dollars more difficult to find in uncirculated grades. In the following year, the US Mint would resume production of the Mint Sets.
